Dearest YYB I was not talking about them or us or anyone else as far as I know. I was trying very hard not to talk about anything that might be considered relevant and I will continue to do so- since I know I have in no way violated the terms of use, or any other new rules that might or might not be applicable. I have been doing my best to bring sweetness and light everywhere- and where I did disagree with a post on the LWP I made sure that I used words that applied to the post and not the poster. I have no idea why you are talking about militancy. I had no idea frilly gloves and frivolous behavior were now against the rules. Please spell out exactly what kind of conduct you would like. Maybe you would like to write some posts up- and I can just copy and submit them with my name on them- then everything will be exactly as you wish it, however that happens to be. Because I am unable to read minds. I apologize in advance for my inability to do this. Ridicule is relative- I think you are personalizing this issue. You feel you personally are being ridiculed. I feel an idea is being ridiculed. You have also used a bad "c" word. I hesitate to point this out, but feel I simply must. As for what happened on the porches I recall no one threatening anyone on the LWP- and only one post that might be close to libelous- not written or supported by me. Therefore, I cannot really support rules whose function is to govern people who should already have been governed by the TOU. If people cannot govern themselves by the TOU I see no earthly reason why even more unclear rules overlayed on the TOU will straighten things out. That is the way I see it. Nothing in this post is meant to be personal to anyone- save for the suggestion that you write up posts you would like me to submit, because I could think of no impersonal way to phrase that.

I don't want you to think my fooling around about lace hankies last night was meant to ridicule. It was satirical fun, but it doen'st mean I don't know that you've been admirable. I'm not saying I'm sanguine about your ideals being successfully implemented. But that's a different subject, and I'll try. You can even PM me if you think i've gone over some line.....
