JDN, I think it is likely that a marriage tax repeal will happen, and I agree with increasing the amount folks can put into IRAs and 401k's, but I don''t buy repealing the estate tax. Only the wealthiest two percent of the population pays this tax (and if you are in that group, congratulations). The idea that it is ravaging small businessmen and the family farmer is vastly overblown, and could be remedied by amending the tax rather than repealing it outright.
