John, over the last few months, most of what was forecasted to happen - happened. Lots of self-fulfilled prophecies these days. The market made a huge run, lots of techs are up 60%+ from their lows. If Feb really does bring about another dip, I'm real worried. And I ain't no doom & gloomer.

Corps are still suspending spending. My clients have all cut ad budgets. It's kind of scarey out there, and if AG can't curb a Feb tanking, I think the worst is yet to come. If CPQ/DELL continue to stockpile, which might be a result - that could lead us into some troubled times.

Yet, this is also why I think AG will cut AT LEAST 25 points. Maybe 50.

Also, I know you're heavy INTC. If Feb slumps, be very worried about semis. I've even sold most of my AMD holdings. If NAZ is above 2800 at the end of Feb, I will go back into AMD/INTC and DELL heavily.

The doom & gloom Feb I've been hearing, my friends and father have been hearing from their brokers (I don't have one) really worries me.

Of course, I could be over-reacting due to what happened last year. And I don't think AG will let his boy Dubya fail.

So basically, I'm clueless, and remain on the sideline. Cash is king.

Dave
