I think you have found one of the major "malinvestments" the Austrian types keep talking about -- all this darned "investment" and "financial" infrastructure. 360 Million dollars worth of transactions, just to run in place, huh?? Heck look at that one guy's site with the daily dollar trading volume compared to GDP. The equity markets and debt markets are necessary to fund normal business investment activity, but now they have grown so enormous in relation to the same that they actually drive or supplant the businesses they were meant to serve ...
