Hey DS,

I am not an EWer, but I tend to agree with your thinking. My point earlier was also made by someone else, namely that the overlay is just one of may data points we use to try to understand what is happening and try to fathom the future.

I had a long talk with a friend the other night who got me to thinking that since human nature had not changed, there is some validity in seeing how people reacted in the past to similar situations.

Your point that you can draw a lot of conclusions, depending on how you look at the overlay, is valid. But, the same is true of any TA. I can look at a chart 20 times and see 5 different patterns. And someone else will see something I missed. And Mr. Market may be following a different pattern that none of us see. As mere mortals we are limited to only three dimensions. But, it is fun to try to guess what is going to happen in the 4th dimension.

Good guessing to one and all,

John
