Anthony if I may say something here regarding coffee from a coffee lover...........

The coffee companies that will survive are those with the great coffee. Starbucks is my brand but I have a few pounds of Peets in my freezer because I tried it when in SF last year and absolutely loved it. Its a gourmet coffee that has a special niche in the coffee market <maybe its the beans?> and whilst it probably wont grow up someday to be a Starbucks in magnitude, the rich and famous and those that appreciate great coffee will flock to Peets.

I'm afraid westpacific should have a cup and find ouot for himself.

Btw, great call on PEET. Am still long and will see how it plays out. Actually, I did sell a portion late this afternoon. You know, a trader and her profits.

Glad to see you posting again.
