Hi cfoe,

I played with the same idea as yours. I did earning calculations for 49 million and 59 million units in the 2nd half of the year. I came up with 83 cents and 93 respectively. In either case, Q will blow away the earning estimation for this year. To get my number, I assumed that the Omnitrac business is not getting any worse, and that the number of shares is not increasing.

Somehow, I find the result too good to believe. But I have to say that the management knows this thing much better than me and most of the analysts.

If you have made the earning predictions based on your set of numbers, can you also release those please? I am afraid that I made some gross mistake in my calculation. Believe it or not, I thought I was going with very conservative assumptions in my calculation.

Thank you,

Khan

Does QCOM's accounting treatment of its Globalstar assets means that in the future revenues will be reported in pro forma fashion......similar to when the infrastructure and handset divisions were sold?
