e-bill, Agree on all counts regarding CSCO. We knew the growth phase would end, but watching it rip through 50 told me that any and all were fair game. I admit I missed the big boat on opticals. I made a very nice profit on CIEN, but I sold WAY WAY too soon. I figured a triple in a quarter or so was a great play and why look the gift horse. Funny, my dentist (who has real knack for just getting the high flyers) was pushing me on the opticals a couple years ago. And here is the real crime, a personal friend was named as one the top five optical analysts a year ago. I can't say which rank because his picture has been in quite a few magazines. What can I say, I never believe the analysts, even if I have 4 friends who do it for a living. Call me a fool. Some of those optical suppliers got pushed real hard and it shows that nothing is a given in this market. I am not a market expert, but I'm smelling smoke and the media seems happy to tell me they are just makin bacon. Seems to me somethings burning and I want to make sure the wind doesn't blow and burn my house down. Have a great weekend. TH
