Not to mention, lack of interchangable lenses and image quality. And when I say image quality, I'm talking about having to stick that magnifying glass they call a "convertor" on the lens to get something approaching a zoom lens. Give me a break! Americans happen to be quite photo literate now, thanks to the huge marketing push in the '80s by the camera makers, especially Canon and Nikon. Yes people want convenience, but they demand performance as well. digital cameras are not there yet, unless you want to spend over $2,000 for one with interchangable lens. I heart my SLR.
