Bosco, last November was the same rumor that CIEN got NT contract. NT went down and CIEN up. Week later ALA won optical contract with Sprint, were CIEN was supplier and guess what. CIEN went down sharply for two days.
May be this time it is NT talking something from CIEN and traders are suggesiting oposite.
Not to mentione Nokia buying Lucent, and when this did not work two days later they invented Alcatel buying Lucent.
