I just want to make sure everybod's input is acknowledged in one place.

Hi, YYB. I'm glad you're doing that. It's important to acknowledge all the input that the thread has produced.

Take a deep breath, girl. I suggest that you not tie yourself up in knots trying to get everyone here singing the same song. From what I've been reading throughout this existential crisis, most people simply want to do their individual thing unimpeded and don't have much of a taste for cooperative policing so you're not likely to have much luck getting a team effort.

But I don't think that needs to be a thread killer--a light touch is probably enough. The moderated threads are most at risk but you and JLA seem to be pretty much in sync regarding them. Whatever rules you need to set to keep them operating can be enforced by the moderators. As for the BR, probably enough posters can muster enough community spirit to keep it down to a dull roar and any excesses can probably to controlled with a bit of peer pressure from those who are inclined/willing to exert it. And if worse comes to worse, this discussion just moves somewhere else. The moderated threads are the ones that need your attention.

I think you're doing a yeoman's job on this. Don't put so much pressure on yourself. I'll bet that the gang will accept whatever it is that you do.
