<<That brings your cost for 24 prints to $6.00for digital, not to mention no gas spent dropping off the film and picking up the prints and lets not forget the waiting! (instant gratification is here to stay!) How much is a gallon of gas?>>

Forget the gas, prepaid film mailers are the way to go for conventional film processing. Yes, and your right, if I was really into pinching pennies I could buy a paper cutter and cut those rolls of 50' paper down to 4x6s, but that's not the point. All I was trying to say was that digital photography is not a no cost alternative to film photography. FWIW I've got a bunch of old Alpas and a Nikon 950, the 950 gets the first shoot every time.

Send me half the difference and you are still way ahead. Your welcome.>>

Additionally, not every picture you take will need to be printed. You'll have them all.....but if you take 100 pictures, how many will you actually print out? The good thing is.....in the future, you can always print a picture you want and have saved, but havent printed yet....

I no my brother is digital camera happy......he said he may print out maybe 20% of the pictures he takes...those of his children, vaction and etc....but he can pick and choose what gets printed and what doesnt. In Italy, he must have taken 1000 Pictures.....all are saved....he has every one, but he actually only printed maybe 50, of different sizes and variety.....even had some framed and gave away as christmas gifts.

Great weekend to all
