JohnG: (From "ON 24". Per Wit Soundview Analyst, Mathew Hoffman, QCOM will not move up Friday but will "remain in the $75 trading range." )

Chuckle. (My chuckle is not so much for his failure to predict the price movement, but his fundamental [sic.] analysis of the company and its prospects broadcast by ON)

Would be curious what Hoffman recommends be bought in preference to Qualcomm.

No matter how I rack my brain, I find that difficult to determine.

Best.

I know it's useless but I sent Hoffman an email yesterday about his statement, "we'll see who's right", him or IJ. He made the same statement on his last call where he downgraded Q. He was wrong then.
I know it's a fairy tale, but I'd love it someone had an independent tracking service for the "calls" some of these clowns made. A service that would be readily available to investors to view their "batting average". I also think there should be an SEC law that requires these clowns to state their "position" each and every time they mention a stock.
