Under "General" it says the device is working properly.

Under "Driver" it gives me 2 options: to view the details or to upgrade

Under "Resources" "Use automatic settings" is checked. Resource type lists "Input/Output Range 0061-0061

Charley: I have been following the journeys of Carolyn, as I have a lack of sound problem, an found on these instruction that under system properties, device manager, "Opti 82C558 PCI to ISA Plug and Play bridge" has a yellow exclamation mark on it. Could this be why I have no sound? I am running on an IBM Aptiva Windows 95.

Under properties for this device it says: Device failure: Try changing the driver for this device. If that doesn't work, see your hardware documentation. (Code 2)
Except for sound the puter works well.
