Further, now that the newspapers have examined actual ballots in Florida, Phillips' thesis is dead wrong. You have to wonder what would posess him to write this in the face of what is now known.

His brother Howard is very conservative. There might be some family squabbling underlying some of what Kevin Phillips writes about. I think he thinks his brother is a whack job.
