mm, Australia has less fluff and tech and more resources as a base to their economy. And really big cans of beer. <g> I think it stands up well as a bridge between Asia and Europe/America. The govt. has been bungling the economic job for quite a while to the point where I think that a mediocre performance could push up the currency.

As Alan Greenspan said, our economy is no longer growing. But it has credit inflation out the wazoo. Pretty scary.

Infineon is in an industry that is on dangerous ground here. DRAM stocks when pc sales are crappy are not a good place to be. Also, not only are sales crappy, but the chippies are about to be forced into another equipment cycle. Perhaps I am being a bit dramatic, but I don't see why this fine chipmaker's stock won't be available at $18 or so sometime during the next 18 months.
