Scott: Richard Surkla and RAMBUS SCAM... that may be true... but is that enough to ban him? Clearly, no one should be banned on the basis of the content, or lack of same, of their posts - unless it is either (a) offensive in nature or (b) extremely and consequently off topic. One example of the latter would be the US presidential election talk many (myself included, I'm sorry to say) engaged in a couple of months ago. Something like that certainly has to be stopped and if Mani hadn't been able to get us to shut up (or take said discussion elsewhere), a vote would have been reasonable. -fyo
