Hello Johnsto1!

Unlike other "online" brokers that send your order through
an e-mail-type system, Interactive Brokers offers a direct-
access order entry system -- the Trader Workstation -- that
transmits your stock, options or futures orders directly to
an exchange or ECN, usually within one second of entry. And
with the release of the latest version of the Trader
Workstation, Interactive Brokers customers need only log
into their accounts and activate the browser-based Trader
Workstation software in order to trade. There is no
cumbersome software to download and install, and customers
can access their account from any PC with a Java-enabled
internet browser, not just their own machine.

This brokerage is one of the cheapest commissions I have
come across. Although, I suspect you need to purchase their
"workstation" software in order to operate thru their
system. Therefore, this is only for the heavy hitters with
large contracts to move. That is most likely how they make
their money.

Note! I don't have any information on how well their
customer support levels or service.
