The title is clearly a misnomer- I have to call it the way I see it.

With all the confusion here the last few days, I just want to be sure that I understand the picture.

My understanding is that the TOU are part of the contract with SI, and are the same for all members. As well--apparently a number of posts were deleted on this board as a result of violations of the TOU. If I did not misread your posts, Administration was cautioning that such a level of violations would not be tolerated, and they gave forewarning that the entire threads were at risk of being deleted.

It seems to me that Admin. was sugesting that we make the effort to put a govenor on our own behaviour, as they were not prepared to spare an adult to this thread--solely for that purpose. Nor were they prepared to make an adult available to respond to the number of complaints that the thread was generating; Nor to intervene on a continuous basis by deletion of posts, reprimands, lectures, suspensions, etc.

My understanding is that nothing in our contract has changed. The TOU are still the same for everyone; And we can still do or say, whatever we damn well please. We have the same ability and freedom to violate the TOU as we always had; We can be just as big--or just as little--as we like. Nobody has stripped us of the ability to violate the TOU, in any way, shape, or form. When we signed the contract there was a presumption of agreement, and of good faith--a presumption that outright anarchy was neither being requested nor proffered.

I know that I have not e-signed any amendments to the TOU. Has anyone else?
