More precise figures.....

I just looked up the exact prices. SMH closed at $56.65 per share on Friday. The option screen on YAHOO showed that the Feb. 60's were at 1.80 by 2.00..

In plain English this means that I would put up $5665.00 sell ot at $6000.00 and still get $180.00 in premium.

These are raw figures and fees for the transactions have to be added in. This results in a $515.00 gain (If I got called out my transaction fees would be ($81.00 ) But at this point keep in mind that the transaction fees would be the same on one or ten contracts.

Aways do the math first., to see if your are being paid sufficiently (in your mind) for the risk that you are taking.
