What programs are you using that need 1600X1200? I have a 21 inch that is running 1024 X 768 and it works well for my multimedia and graphics work.

I just switched to 1600 X 1200 while composing this message, I just don't think I would ever use a res that high.

If the fonts are too small at that high res, you may as well reduce it to 1280 X 1024.
