Los Angeles Times written by Joel Kotkin of
the LA Times about the regional balance
of power in the U.S., specifically a continuing
rivalry between California and Texas for
national influence. In light of the energy
crisis unfolding in the U.S., and events
of late in California, this is very interesting
insight to perhaps an even more macro-political
perspective of things. Attitude and cultural
core values are everything and result in
different approaches and different outcomes.
