If you're talking about Palm Beach County, there's no evidence for that contention. If someone wished to spoil the ballots to cost Bush votes, they would punch out the Gore chad, right? Then you would see many Bush + Gore overvotes. But the overvotes were examined, and by a margin of 3 to 1, they were not Bush overvotes; they were Gore + someone else overvotes; either Gore + Buchanan (the hole above Gore's), or Gore + the hole below Gore's (I forget the candidate's name). So the evidence points to a ballot confusion that cost Gore votes, not to a fraud.

The one piece of good news in the Florida election disaster is that no large scale frauds were uncovered.
