I, as well, wish for Stan's return. Our little thread is becoming like so many others, Too darn many meaningless posts. History has shown when a thread becomes so popular that there are 100's of posts per day, it's the beginning of the end. This has always been an excellent thread with meaningful and helpful posts, I believe Stan's return could do a lot to bring this thread back to it's old format. Here are some of the latest warnings: Phelps Dodge $45 3/4 ($1.188) Whisper Discussion Phelps Dodge (PD) warned they would not meet first quarter estimates. The consensus EPS is .36 per share. The company stated they would not only miss that, but post a loss of .10-.20 per share. WJ Communications $15 ($4.250) Article Whisper Discussion WJ Communications (WJCI) warned they would fall short of first quarter revenue estimates. Revenues should be in the $25-28 million. Consensus EPS is .03 per share. Egghead.com $1 3/16 ($0.031) Whisper Discussion Egghead.com (EGGS) announced they would exceed fourth quarter EPS estimates. The current consensus EPS is a loss of .41 per share. The company also stated that they would fall short of revenue estimates. LM Ericsson $11 1/4 ($1.750) Article Whisper Discussion LM Ericsson (ERICY) warned they would not meet first quarter EPS estimates. The consensus EPS estimates are .03 per share. The Company stated they would post a "breakeven before tax" for the quarter. Horizon Organic $5 1/16 ($0.125) Whisper Discussion Horizon Organic (HCOW) warned they would miss fourth quarter EPS estimates. The current consensus EPS is .04 per share.
