You may be on to something. However, the culprits are not necessarily criminals <<criminals think that people fall into two groups; criminals and people who are too stupid to be criminals>> but those who divide people in two groups: those who know what is best for everybody and those who are too stupid to know what is best for themselves.

We all know who fits that description.

Tastes Like Chicken,

That was a wonderful post. You hit the nail on the head with me. I see too much "loyalty" to political leaders these days. I have disciminating tastes in friends and people I like to hang around with. These days it is very politically incorrect to discriminate. But I do discriminate very much. I stay very much away from people who are liars, blowhards, selfish, and self-serving. Life is too short to play that game. People like the Clintons, Jes.Jackson, and all the guys who can't keep their zipper shut, I have no time for, Republicans too.

All of my friends don't act that way. We drink beer, we use colorful language, and generally have a helluva good time. But we have learned from our excesses of the past and strive to do what is right. I, too, attend my Methodis church regularly. I hate to see people box churchgoers as weirdo's out of touch with much of America. I am very much in touch with America, I just see things going on in America that make it much more difficult to raise my 2 kids in the way that is right.

I can see both sides of many of the Republican and Democratic issues. But, I would like to see more people stand up for proper behavior, lack of moral leadership is killing this country. I am not a prude but I know right from wrong as do all of my friends. It kills me to see people say that character doesn't matter in a President. Issues are important, but we needer a leader who can be respected. It frankly saddens me that so many people have been willing to overlook Clintons constant lies and selfserving behavior. If a Republican would have done this I would have been first in line to have him removed.

Everyone, do the right thing, give Bush some time. He is a breath of fresh air in Washington. If he can't cut the mustard, let's bring someone else in, but I sure like what I see.

Tastes Like Chicken, thanks again for the wonderful post.
