Running Matrox 400 AGP card with two Monitors attached and two single out Matrox G200 PCI video cards for a total of four monitors. Win 98 with an Abit BE6-II board. All cards must be from Matrox for the system to work (according to Matrox). Have to make sure that bus-mastering is turned on and the 4500 should have it's own IRQ (not share it with something like the modem). Check c:/programs/accessories/system tools/system information and then double click on Hardware Resources and then IRQs to see what hardware is assigned to what IRQ. To reposition a hardware item such as a video card on another IRQ go to Start and then settings and then control panel. Double click on System then Device Manager. Click on Display Adapter and double click your video card then go to resources. It should say no conflicts. If your are having video card problems then click the block that says use automatic settings and reassign the video to an open IRQ (if you have one) or to one which is seldom used ( for example one of the I/O ports such as 2 or 3. That process worked for me. Not sure how to make sure Bus-Mastering is turned on - when I switched IRQs Matrox window came up and asked me if I wanted to turn it on and I said yes.
