As I think about it, I tend to agree with you that the low that day may be too important simply to "chop off," though, as I look at the intradays, it does appear that it (the extreme low) came on low volume (kind of feint or fakeout).

Anyway, I'm not sure either theoretical wedge is all that good of a one (I think you misread my perhaps ambiguous statement about the nature of the shorter wedge - we concur) - or that, even if it was, that it'd matter all that much... so I'm going to have lunch, dang it! Been working to hard this morning already...
