Patricia--I agree that Bush isn't going to outlaw fetal cell research, but by cutting off government funding for fetal cell research, he's ensuring that it will go forward MUCH less rapidly, and thus ensuring that innocent people suffer for many, many years in the process.

It will be a happy day when fetal stem cells aren't needed for this research--removing this issue from the hands of pre-life advocates would be wonderful--but that day isn't here yet, unfortunately.

Quite ridiculous. At one time many females eagerly advanced the argument that abortion was nothing more significant than a tonsillectomy. They “agonize over the decision” because we fanatics consistently told them the truth that they are accomplices in the purest form of murder in existence. Too many women have sold their post natal children for profit, especially women in developing countries. I hardly think they’d be too disinclined to sell a child that they have helped murder before its birth. Indeed, abortionists could well aim to ameliorate the woman's guilt by telling her she helps mankind by selling her murdered child.

Most woman agonize over the decision "for or against" an abortion. A couple of bucks isn't going to sway most women to sell the tissues...
