Joan, I have used it and like it. The one problem I have had is that, if I use it as option or futures collateral, I have to put up more than I would in T-Bills. For me, it is usually not worth it.

I hate the privatized cos. as common stocks at their current levels, but even I don't have a problem with Fannie and Freddie short term paper. The longer term stuff, yes. But that govt. fund they have to bail out their debt would have to be drawn down before the buyer could get hurt, and, by that time, I'd be long gone. <g>
