That is very interesting technology. And it may be successful to some extent. But in my opinion the internet has opened the floodgates to the free exchange of information whether or not it is legal. The question is to what extent the average user will prefer to 'play by the rules' or just 'take what he can get'.

Someone will go to the trouble in the end to compile a dictionary for the public domain that will live in a place that anyone with a hookup can get to it for free (perhaps with ads). Actually dictionary.com already is this.

The internet has potential as a tool for merchants, but it is *PROVEN* to work well on the 'public library' model. And there's no stopping the free exchange of information. That will never happen...
