It is becoming clearer and clearer that the term re-elect can't apply to our current president. Having the supreme court re-appoint him, perhaps, or letting there be another putsch to return him to office. But, until he has been elected once by the people of this nation, he cannot be re-elected.chicagotribune.com While all but one of the 15 counties examined were won by George W. Bush, the study found that most of the disqualified votes were intended for former Vice President Al Gore. In fact, had canvassing boards tallied those ballots during Florida's prolonged election battle, Gore may have seen a net gain of 366 votes in these selected counties. It will be interesting to see how many spoiled Bush ballots were counted despite their errors. The percentages make it pretty clear that two standards were applied.Bush won Florida by 537 votes, and thus the presidency. But the significance of the potential votes in the ballots reviewed so far cannot be determined without examining all 180,000 ballots rejected in the state's 67 counties. A consortium of newspapers, including five from Tribune Co., is preparing to review all of the rejected ballots. That effort could take months. But they're going to do it, months or not. And it is very likely that it will be clearly shown that fraud is responsible for our current President being in office. Seizing the government by illegal means is treason, and treason is punishable by death. Since George is such a big fan of capital punishment, he should be pleased as he is led to his electric chair. One year and 11 months until the impeachment hearings start. :-) Dan
