Dear Frank:

You claim to know little about TCs. But that nitwit analyst used it to cause you to lose 15%. It has such a small effect on the entire semi industry and tech in general, its effect is laughable. Yet, it caused trillions of dollars in losses for the stockholders. That is no longer a laughing matter. You claimed that SDI is a laughing matter for the demise of the USSR.

Why, you must have never heard the expression, "the straw that broke the camel's back". A camel has a strong back. It can carry far more than the average horse. A straw is very small. Everyone would laugh about it being enough to break a camel's back but, done with an almost too heavy load, it can do it.

Many things in nature have this "breaking point". There is an entire branch of science devoted to this phenomonon. That your family could cease to exist by a dust speck is really nothing to be laughed at. The air 100 miles upwind is very unstable and has become supersaturated with water. A dust speck causes the beginnings of a thunderstorm. The storm hits a rolling air current. It twists it 90 degrees and starts a tornado which runs over your house causing the death of your entire family. The dust speck is a trigger and causes the tornado to kill you.

Enough said.

Pete
