combjelly, Yes such obsessiveness coupled with the tenor of his posts show him to be a younger person who wants to rich on a single company, much like those that bought 1000 Intel in 1977 and never sold a share. How I would like to have done that.
Will rambus do this? Beats me. They are dependent on a series of legal victories at the same time they also depend on no other tech being capable of doing and end run on their tech....like ferro-magnetic memory etc.
It is probably a good deal had you bought it waaay back. Now i think there are many other trader chances that can beat it to death. remember the sure legal opinion that they have won or lost is years away when you take appeals into account, so they do not have much upwards potential until they win(if and when).
I am sure they will have wins and losses and good day increases, so can be managed profitably as a traded stock.
To just buy and hold right now.....baaad move. there are many better places to invest.
