Don't know about whether or not they have a back room storage area or not. But regardless, if there were about a dozen before, and only 5 now, then they sold at least (approximately) 7 boxes, or likely even more (if they had add'l shipments between visits or use back room storage).

Problem is, one store doesn't a trend make. I'd bet it isn't just one store though...

Well, the price club I go to sells in the bottom level of skid racking and the upper racks(4 on top) are full of pallets of product that is brought down when the last skid on the floor is empty as told by the computer system.
All these box stores buy and move by skid lots as that cuts freight costs. Sams club is no exception to the rule. the one I know in Rochester NY is similar to the price club(I have not been in it for 3 years). The common Wallmarts are more like K-marts with a far wider selection in more conventional aisle shelves than the skid racks of the Sams club and the price club stores.
In a price club or Sams club any item that sold 7 in 2 weeks would never be bought again.

Bill
