- this particular article got my attention. Although it's actually a piece on the borderline success of "storage for rent" companies like STOR,the study that the company does really lays out some of the numbers involved(50k-250k a month,w/250k-300k for set up)These numbers seem at surface to be a bigger deal than a 30 million telecom contract(optics) over 10 years to be paid with stock options. Maybe this is a stretch but storage could be the next "real" income boom since PC's decades ago. Notice the companies listed here(Dell,CPQ,IBM,SUNW,HWP,)

My understanding is NTAP took a hit from doing business with a number of dotcoms but companies like MCDT,EMLX,EMC,are moving gainbusters. Distribution aside, I see MCDT as the freshest dominate player so that's where I will be focused through out 2001.
