ot re Al McGuire You referred to him as Mr. McGuire. He wouldnt have known who you were talking about. He would have said to you, Mr. McGuire is my father. You can call me Al (or Coach).

It's been too many years since I was in school. But I do remember coaches were "Coach," a title spoken with reverence if not awe.

Now I'm waiting for Coach Greenspan to make the right call. :)
