Arch, while dated, that's a nice reference, thanks. So there may be limited use for copper overhead lines, but transformers, generators, and underground is mostly copper. Almost all the new housing developments I'm aware use underground transmission in the development area, that's copper. Also notice the issue of aluminum transmission lines use near salt water? Where's most of the population density? Copper? Hmmmmmmmmmm
