Gata's email group messages contain ... could interpret as inappropriate ... using the thread posting feature of Silicon Investor. Jim, Silicon Investor's Terms of Use prohibits solicitations. Try and sell your puppy litter on this thread, as an off topic, with the conditions that they received all their shots from a veterinarian that also checked them out and declared them all in good health, that you the receiver will have to only pay for the shipping costs. Now in a way this person is selling them, and the shipping costs most likely would be small compared to an actual purchase at a pet store, but the sender will receive cash from you eventhought will will be used to pay cost of transport. Now what will happen to these new born dogs on this farm that is far away from any significant population area if no one wants to receive them from this family owned farm that has no extra money to care for more animals will be what my grandfather had to do when litters of cats and dogs appeared from an already too many farm pets already, which was to put them inside a burlap bag, tie-up the top and heave it into the pond. Most likely the Administration of Silicon Investor would not automatically act on this solicitation and remove the post and put poster into SiJail unless the members that use the thread complain. Now breeding dogs for sale would be a 100% no no to try and sell them here. In between these two are situations that will collect many different responses, for and against and neutral. The Gold Anti-Trust Action(GATA) is what? good/bad/nuts GATA with others has a lawsuit in progress, which requires money, and the extent duration and scope depends on cash flow, where the cash flow depends on donations to this GATA which is a non profit organization. But bottom line is that if i direct people's attention to the GATA cause, then yes they will obtain the info that a lawsuit has been brought forth towards places and people seen by GATA as corrupt and criminal. But along the road to obtain such info will be that thing called "help us with support... and money." So i warn folks that they will encounter such, and as such if they feel it important not to go where a pitch for their money will take place, then exit my SI post message of GATA activity. I'm sure, in that the following si members have already expressed an opinion that Bill Murphy et al of GataLand are a fraud + con + scam, and are living the high life off the money gata receives, that these folks have the potential to already informed Silicon Investor's 911 of my posts that violate in full SI's Terms of Use. o49er, ron reece, rarebird, hutch, bobby, bob johnson I itemize these names so that you can have an opportunity to receive opinions of some si members that post here of an opinion that my views on gata are mis-guided & bad.
