With all respect the exact same thing was said about Zimbabwe.

I was born in Kenya and have been back at least a dozen times since 1983 for over 8 weeks per visit.

Due to business and political uncertainty as well as extreme violence the last of my family is leaving to move to the U.K., States, or Australia.

Nobody, I repeat nobody is moving to South Africa because of the stories we are getting from relatives/friends/associates there is exactly similar to the letter of the deterioration that occurred in Uganda and then Kenya from the 70's onward.

My father's best friend has had two BMW's stolen at gunpoint in the last 18 months in Jo'Burg's best area.

Africa has and will never have hope. It's societal, it's cultural, it's ingrained.
