GPRS is spelled with an R.

GPS is something weird which doesn't work in cars, on
streets of large cities, in offices, under trees, in malls,
covered parking lots, etc, etc, pretty much like Iridium and
GlobalStar.

Ilmarinen.

P.S. Get the closest taxi cab with a SMS message and a
_two_way_ SMS as response, call the driver if he seem
to be late. (already history in Finland, just like GPS)

Several research agencies are listing this as # 1 wireless data app for 2005.

I've played golf on 2 GPS equipped courses ... last was Camelback in AZ. It adds a great dimension to the game, particularly when you are on a strange course.

Imagine being able to store your round on a WID and replay it at any time after Bluetoothing it off to your desktop client, and forwarding it too a friend to replay?

No, not in 2001, a transition year.
