Dear Scumbria:

A good administration gets enhanced with age but, as time goes on Clinton's gets reduced more and more. Soon, not much is left. You are claiming the opposite wrt Bush given little at all by your own admission. Every administration is average without any history one way or the other. Most of us are in a wait and see mode but, you have a closed mind already.

Clinton's first two weeks caused at least one out and out blunder, "Don't ask don't tell" besides the usual partisan bickering about cabinet choices. He just had six extra weeks to make em and he still screwed up. I think that in this, it is very hard to do this without the bickering from someone, and he was no better or worse than normal, by this point in 1992. So at least I waited to pass judgement until later, when it became evident that things were going downhill.

You should be in a wait and see mode. Anything prior to the swearing in ceremony, is water under the bridge. It is over and done with. Time will tell about how good this administration is but, even if its just average, its better than Clinton's.

Pete
