Show me a health insurance company for whom their business is not a profit margin and I will show you a bankrupt.

What does the FDA have to do with the regulation of insurance companies?

I don't mind debating with those of opposing views but a few here are making specious arguments and dealing in out and out falsehood and I suggest that those of you who support our President ignore them totally until they clean up their act.

<<<Taking the regulatory process out of the FDA's hands would not necessarily allow Lilly to make it's decisions>>

Patricia: Obviousily you do not believe in the market system. No amount of arguments could convince you that businessmen do not want to destroy their business. That is exactly what they will do if they produce faulty products. Yes there will be problems with drugs that are ineffective or may even cause harm but compared to the thousands of people who die because they do not have access to drugs that are not "approved" by the FDA is a criminal event. I hope that I never have the occasion to have to go overseas to save one of my family members because of the overcaution of the government protecting my interests. I would rather rely on Johnson and Johnson
