Dear Scumbria:

I got the shaft with ever increasing Social Security and Medicare(aid) Taxes. The SS and the two MC systems need reform bad. We should pay less for people a few days away from dying and children too far gone to care, and much more for those who will get a lot more benefit out of it. These two things could cut our health bill in half. Reducing administration costs in the constant battle between suppliers and payees could save another half.

And perhaps a limit that a drug provided elsewhere must be sold at the same price here or lower. If they sell it in Europe for $20 a dose, it must cost no more than $20 a dose here otherwise, they can not sell it anywhere else cheaper. This does not cause them not to make a profit or recover their development costs, just that regional pricing will no longer be allowed to their benefit. Any violation must be repay the overcharges here times three (no different than the penalties for RICO)(its best they be caught early).

You and your children pay 32% of everything you all make (much more than $4 a day and its going to be at least twice as much when you retire in today's dollars with no changes).

Then with the Rich pardon, "moron" would be a step up for Clinton and his sidekick Gore.
