flap we won the cold war with the Soviet Union. The Chinese cold war is still brewing and we better damn well be ready for them in every possible way. Land, Sea and Air... MDS included. The chinese are NOT our allies no matter how much they paid Clinton/Gore. We need every defense imaginable in order to insure our future generations do not speak Chinese. As far as the reality of MDS working... if we can think it, we can do it. A few high level detractors can be found for nearly every major technological advance in history. I see no reason why MDS would be any different. Why do liberals always point toward spending money on "social problems"? We are literally throwing money away on a load of the fixes when the reality is money does not fix the problems. It takes a shift in sentiment. Right now the inner city sentiment seems to lean toward one of being a victim. I attribute this to the liberal media and people like Jesse telling them over and over how victimized they are. How about telling them opportunities are present if they WORK hard? How about promoting Collin Powell's accomplishments instead of calling him an Uncle Tom? I got news for those libs... affirmative action did not get Collin Powell any STARS. ht Mag
