McLaren seems to be taking a back seat in the Australian "All Ordinaries"
Overall comment is "wait and see" IMHO.

to boost the market?

Safest thing looks to be wait and see if a boost occurs.

As I posted earlier Merrill is talking about all the refinancing going on... ie. people refinancing and taking the money and spending it or I suppose reinvesting it. Sounds like a pretty stupid reason to buy stocks IMO... ie. "people have cash burning hole in pockets"
