Sword Mightier Than Sign in Traffic Scrap

ISTANBUL (Reuters) - A Turkish motorist who pulled a decorative sword
for dramatic effect during an argument over a traffic sign accidentally wounded the other driver, the state-run
Anatolian news agency said on Monday.

Anatolian said Unal Topaloglu was arguing with another driver over the right of way at an intersection in the
central Turkish town of Kayseri.

Pulling out an engraved souvenir sword he had in his car, he inadvertently cut the man on the hand while
gesturing wildly, Anatolian said.

The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment, while police detained Topaloglu and other passengers for
questioning.
