Initial Dates Confirmed for Trey Anastasio Solo Tour Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio will launch a solo tour beginning at the end of February. Joining him once again will be bassist Tony Markellis and drummer Russ Lawton, who both performed with Anastasio on his first solo tour in May of 1999. This year’s line-up will also include saxophonist Dave “The Truth” Grippo and trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick. Thus far, three dates have been confirmed: February 21 at The Orpheum Theatre in Boston, MA (on sale 2/2), February 28 at the Landmark Theatre in Richmond, VA (on sale 2/3) and March 4 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA (on sale 2/3). The complete itinerary will be announced later today or tomorrow and is expected to include a total of 10 shows along the East Coast. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster.

Widespread Panic Announces Spring Tour Widespread Panic has announced plans for a spring tour. The tour will begin April 18 at Millet Hall at Miami University in Oxford, OH and include stops in Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama before culminating with two shows in New Orleans: May 3 at the Jazz & Heritage Festival and May 4 at Municipal Auditorium.
