It's a mystery alright. Aus suggested maybe a large OEM cancelled unexpectedly. OK, let's think about that for a minute.

First it would have to be a very big OEM. And it would have to be more than just an expected slowdown in sales. Perhaps something like an OEM deciding to package Lexar cards instead of Sandisk cards with their product. Maybe Sandisk is embarrassed to fess up.

Even so, if there are twice as many customers wanting cards as orders being filled, you would think that it would take all of 30 seconds for Sandisk to pick up the phone to one of the unfulfilled customers and say, "hey great news, we can fill your order and meet your needs after all. The cards are in the mail."

I'm guessing here too. The hard part of the mystery is the MAGNiTUDE of the "slow in OEM sales"
