Ah yes- do no harm. Well, a smart engineer then. We agree on the fixing mistakes, I think. It's hard to say with my limited knowledge of the true situation. Like driving through a fog bank whilst sitting backwards, in a another country. The instruments (stats) are old, don't read reliably and the map has big chunks of uncharted areas. Worse, we don't have GPS, so we aren't even sure if we are where we think we are. So, the map is useless, the instruments are useless, and we are left to make our best guess.
