The country seemed to manage the SE Asian situation pretty well. And I think some of the bad news is priced into the country- though I haven't looked at it's currency so much as the CEFs. Of course, in a meltdown, who knows? Just as Indonesia and Malaysia have sort of a black cloud about them based on recent history, Singapore seems to glow. But that's not a decent investment rationale. And certainly isn't based on an informed opinion derived from recent data. Hey, how about Argentina or Hong Kong? <grin>
